evaluation plan
The evaluation should include the following questions:
The evaluation portion consisted of the following questions:
1.) Did we raise $10,000 in this campaign by December 23th?
2.) Did the money received reach its intended recipients?
3.) Did the students at ACRAHS #5 experience the show as outstanding?
4.) Did the students at ACRAHS #5 understand and fulfill upon their part to play in the international humanitarian work done in partnership for the people of Pakistan with UPP!?
5.) Did the story break into the mainstream media and/or underground social media?
6.) Did the breaking of the story bring substantial financial support to the campaign?
Update 4-15-2014:
So, to answer the questions: 1.) We raised $245 in our online campaign at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-6th-upp-yepp-hhsa-talent-show-world-peace-campaign/x/76285#home far less than we had intended. It is fair to say we did not reach our intended funding-related audience.
2.) We sent $50 or 20% of the raised money to UNICEF Pakistan. We have the CDS bank information to send $50 to them at present.
3.) The 600 or so students and staff of ACRAHS #5 did experience the show as outstanding judging by their reactions and comments. The video reactions and comments as well as photographs also indicated this to be the case.
4.) We had a substantial breakdown in student assistance with regards to the social media campaign and with their connecting to the reality in Pakistan. It was educational in many ways none-the-less.
5.) We did make the news in China http://www.ntdtv.com/xtr/gb/2013/12/21/atext1028384.html and although this did not create for us a financial breakthrough, it did prove to us that we could surprise ourselves in how we do actually break into media.
